How to set up shipping on your online store
Setting up shipping isn't as fun as designing your own products, we know. But to open your store for business, you need to set up your shipping prices. Here's how you do it in three steps:
1. Get to know UK printing shipping rates
We offer international shipping, so get to know UK printing shipping regions.
Below are our Standard shipping rates that are fixed and calculated based on the average shipping cost for each product category. All products in their shipping category have similar dimensions, weight, and packaging.
Use the shipping rates listed below to set up shipping on your store.

2. Calculate shipping costs for your products
You set up your own product and shipping prices for your customers. When an order is made, you charge your customer and then UK Printing Company charges you for the product and shipping to fulfill your customer's order. Whatever is left over after UK Printing Company charges you is your profit!
The way you set your profit margin is up to you. To help you stay on track with trickier shipping calculations, read the questions we answered below.

To get the shipping cost for an order with one product, scroll up to our shipping rates table and find the product category with your product. Once you click on it, you'll see listed products that have the same shipping costs, depending on the location you ship to.
Take a look at the First product row—that's the shipping cost for an order containing only one product.
Example: The cost for shipping one mug to the UK is £3.00.
Similar products are items that are grouped together under one shipping category and have the same shipping rates. For example, hoodies and sweatpants, tote bags and fanny packs are all in one category with the same shipping rate.
To calculate the shipping cost for an order with similar products, scroll up to our shipping rates table and find the category with your products. Once you click on it, you'll see listed products that have the same shipping costs, depending on the location you ship to.
Take a look at the First product row—that's the shipping cost for an order containing only one product. Then look at the Additional product row and add that price to the one in the First product row. That's it!
Example: The cost for shipping one mug to the UK is £3.00 which is the price in the First product row. Then if an order has 2 mugs, the shipping for the second mug will cost £0.30 which is the price in the Additional product row. All together the cost for shipping two t-shirts to the USA is £3.60.
The products that are not grouped together under a category count as different products in terms of shipping prices. For example, hoodies and all-over print leggings, tote bags and backpacks are in different categories with different pricing.
To calculate the shipping cost for an order with different products, scroll up to our shipping rates table and find both categories with your products. See which of your products has the highest shipping cost in the First product row and use that as a base. Then, to cover the second product, add that product's Additional product price. That's it!
Example: To get the shipping cost for an order with a cushion and an apron, see whichever one has the highest shipping cost in the First product row. UK shipping for a cushion is £3.50 and £0.50 for each additional product, and for an apron, it's £3.00 and £0.30 for each additional product. The highest price for the First product in this example would be the cushion, so you should use that and add the apron's Additional product shipping cost to cover it. All together, shipping an apron and a hoodie would cost £3.80 in this example.
